I am SO excited to tell you about my next picture book, BRIGHT WINTER NIGHT, which is coming out on December 1 of this year. It's illustrated by the super-talented Ashling Lindsay who has just truly captured the beauty and stillness of a winter forest at night. This book is about a group of woodland creatures who get together and build a sleigh to race off to see the northern lights. It's a fast-paced rhyming story that ends in ooooohs and ahhhhhs, bursts of color, and then a beautiful fuzzy pile of adorable animals falling asleep.
